Sir,

362

I have to report that on the 20th instant at 2.30 p.m. I paraded seven Indian Sergeants and twenty-three Indian Constables, the Sergeants without their stripes and all without their numbers, and a Chinaman named Un Kin identified P.S. 566 Fazul Shah as having received bribes from him in connection with the gaming house in Cheung Hing Street.

A Chinaman named Tsz Fuk also identified A.S. 547 Khaim Singh as having received bribes from him in connection with the gaming house in Wa Lane.

20th September, 1897.
